On this latest visit to enjoy the historic churches tour, Holiday parade, and Anderson House tours, we first parked our car on Main to see what was in Blackthorn's windows. To my great delight, there were two gorgeous lamps for sale! Guess what ended up in the trunk of our car?! Thank you again, Nancy and Steve!
This store is an absolute must stop if you're going to Lexington. The pieces are top quality. The owners are very welcoming and will be able to find that specific thing you need. For example, my husband purchased a dresser at an auction. The drawers had a space for a key. The owner had a key for my dresser. I believe if you lost it they could find it. Blackthorn Antiques is one of my favorite places to visit when we spend a weekend in historic Lexington. Our family has been driving up from Kansas City for years. The owners, Steve and Nancy, are warm, friendly, and engaging. They care about their customers and their town. The quality and selection of their merchandise is outstanding. Pricing is reasonable and appropriate.
