Very interesting! Was not even looking for this, but on my way to Lexington for the battle museum. Lucky I took this road instead of listening to my map app! Nestled into the hillside directly on the road, I simply had to walk up the stairs! I would have enjoyed more information, but as a memorial I think it does a fine job to the memories of those lost.
Not much to see but is very old. The old Lexington bridge use to be located adjacent to the stairs of the memorial and you could watch traffic cross the river. What use to be the entrance to the bridge is now a small parking where you can stop and rest or climb the stairs to the top of the memorial
